Dealership Showrooms
Keep showroom vehicle’s batteries fully charged and ready for demonstration, whilst staying out of sight of customers.
Battery failure can cost you crucial sales
As showroom vehicles are often sat idle and not driven, leaving the 12V battery to power the vehicles systems on it’s own. With customers trying out the in-vehicle systems, the battery can only cope for so long before it’s dead and requires a recharge. When the battery does fail, the battery is the least of your worries. When the vehicle doesn’t start, reliability jumps to the top of the customers concerns leading them to shop elsewhere.
Built to be discreet
Our range of equipment is perfectly suited to support heavy-duty vehicles such as buses, trucks, lorries and other 24V commercial vehicles.
The new SSU2-50/S provides a stable voltage and up to 50 amps of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery without any fan noise ensuring a noise free environment for your sales customers.
SSU2-50/S can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM and GEL.
When the battery is charged the SSU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain.
This low profile (90mm) battery conditioner has been designed specifically for car showrooms.
Most conventional battery conditioners simply trickle charge the battery after it has been drained. The SSU2-50/S provides instant support to the battery negating the need for recharging.
With the SSU2-50/S showroom conditioner connected to your vehicles you can be sure that they are always ready for demonstration and that the battery will be kept in prime condition.
This unit has been designed to slip under most vehicles without scratching the floor surface and features automatic current sensing so that it knows when it is needed.
The intelligent sensing in SSU2-50/S determines exactly when support is required to minimize unnecessary noise and power consumption.
An expanding range of adapters are also available to allow simple connection directly to the vehicle battery or via distribution points.
Approved by JLR for use in showrooms.
DIAGNOSTICS, RE-PROGRAMMING, ABS BRAKE BLEEDING
BSU2-50 provides a stable voltage and up to 50 amps (dependent on model) of fully regulated power to prevent loss of charge and damage to the battery.
BSU2-50 can be used with any 12V automotive battery including AGM, GEL and lithium.
When the battery is charged the BSU is a regulated power supply to sustain accessory loads and offset parasitic drain.
Designed for use in the workshop and compatible with most diagnostic trolleys.
Reverse polarity protection.
Output current display.
Contactor reset for lithium batteries.
Supplied with IEC power lead and 5m output leads.
The MPL10 charger from Traction Direct has been designed with the latest JLR workshop standards in mind.
Suitable for most common battery types – Ca/Ca, Ca/Ag, AGM, GEL and conventional lead acid.
The MPL10 features Traction’s patented desulphation technology ensuring the battery is in peak condition before commencing charge.
As with all Traction battery chargers the MPL10 is manufactured at our own UK site.
The rectified DC output of the MPL10 achieves significantly higher standard of charge than its switched mode competitors.
Not LiFeP04 Compatible.
OVERVIEW
A professional grade 12V 50A battery charger designed to meet the high demands of modern workshops. It combines high-output charging with intelligent features to ensure each battery is efficiently maintained.
As vehicle technologies continues to evolve, workshops require a charging solution that is able to maintain all vehicles that come into the workshop. MPL50-Li supports most 12V battery technologies including AGM, EFB, GEL and Lithium LiFePO4. Specific technology charge modes ensure safety and boost efficiency.
Designed to be your go to battery maintainer. When not being used for battery charging, you can place MPL50-Li into SUPPORT mode. This will deliver a stable 13.4V at up to 50A, allowing you to perform advanced diagnostics and software updates without worrying about the battery failing part way through.
