Based on the proven and reliable MPL50 Li platform, the TVC version offers an additional integrated Thermal and Voltage Compensation (TVC) cable. This enhanced DC lead incorporates clamp-level temperature sensing and real-time, battery-post voltage feedback, enabling the charger to deliver greater protection and more precise charging performance in demanding workshop environments.

The TVC edition adds two advanced optimisation functions for workshops requiring maximum accuracy under high load or variable thermal conditions.

Thermal Protection

Clamp-level temperature sensing allows the MPL50 Li TVC to automatically reduce current if the clamps or battery posts begin to overheat. This protects the components during extended support mode operation, heavy diagnostic loads, or high-temperature environments.

Enhanced Precision

The MPL50 Li TVC retains all charging modes, safety systems and output capability of the standard MPL50 Li. The TVC cable simply adds greater accuracy and protections where workshops conditions demand and require it.

Voltage Compensation

Real-time voltage feedback from the battery posts enables the charger to compensate for cable-related voltage drop. The MPL50 Li ensures the voltage delivered at the battery is the same as the charger's profile output, maintaining optimal charging effectiveness and consistent performance.

Ultra Low Recovery Mode

When batteries are deeply discharged, most chargers can't recover them. MPL50-Li has our unique Ultra Low Recovery Mode can bring a battery back from as low as 1V. From there, it restores it to a usable charge level, and fully charges it if applicable.
